Yield: 8 servings

Serving size: 4 pigs in a blanket

Ingredients

  • 8 Applegate® Organic Turkey Franks
  • 1 can Pilsbury® Reduced-Fat Crescent Rolls
  • 4 Sargento's® Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Cut each turkey frank into 4 even pieces, giving you a total of 32 little franks.
  3. Slice each cheese slice into 4 individual pieces, giving you 32 small slices of cheese.
  4. Take one of the 8 triangle-shaped portions of the dough and roll or stretch it out slightly, making into a larger triangle. Cut this piece of dough into 4 long, narrow triangles. Do this to with each dough triangle, giving you 32 small triangles of dough.
  5. Starting at the base of each of these triangles, roll 1 cut turkey frank and 1 cheese slice up in each triangle until the point of the triangle wraps around the center.
  6. Place each pig onto a baking sheet lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Make certain to leave room between each pig as the dough will expand while baking them.
  7. Place pan in oven and bake for about 12 minutes until dough is golden brown and crispy.
