Skinny Cherry Vanilla Cheesecake

I love anything cherry flavored, especially cheesecake, so for this recipe I combined the two together to make a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional cherry cheesecake.  This Skinny Cherry Vanilla Cheesecake recipe is really easy and the only down side to making it is that you will want to eat the entire cheesecake…it is addicting.  I always use Dannon Light n Fit Cherry flavored yogurt in this recipe but I am sure that you can substitute another brand or flavor but the nutrition info is calculated using the Dannon brand.

Skinny Cherry Vanilla Cheesecake

Yields: 1 pie (8 slices)

Serving Size: 1/8th of pie


  • 1 20 oz. can Comstock No-Sugar Added Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 8 0z. package of 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 6 0z. container Dannon Light n Fit Cherry Flavored yogurt
  • 1 1 0z. box sugar-free, fat-free vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 6 oz. Cool Whip Free (about 1/2 container)
  • 1 reduced-fat graham cracker crust


  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and cherry flavored yogurt with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. In a separate small mixing bowl, add dry pudding mix and 1/4 cup skim milk. Using a whisk, stir until slightly thickened.
  3. Add pudding mixture into cream cheese mixture and blend with an electric mixer until smooth.
  4. Next, fold in Cool Whip Free topping to the cream cheese mixture and stir until blended.
  5. Transfer cheesecake mixture into graham cracker crust and top with no-sugar added cherry pie filling. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours before serving.
