Because of this photo, I decided to add running a 5k to my bucket list!  WHAT WAS I THINKING!?  A fellow mommy in my neighborhood told me about the “From Couch to 5K” program.  They have it a few times a year at a park in Concord, NC.  I checked it out, and have reluctantly signed my husband and I up.

The program works at a steady, slow pace to help build up your running stamina.  The first week you run for a minute, walk for 2.  The second week you run for two minutes, walk for one.  The goal is to be able to run a 5k by the end of the program.

Don’t worry, I will be sure to keep you posted on my “success”!  I figure if I can make it around the track once without hyperventilating, then I have won!!
