Try this easy way to get the party “poppin” with these adorable cake pops. The recipe is not only quick but is on the lighter side as well.
Ingredients
- Skinny Chocolate Raspberry Cake Pops
- Ingredients:
- Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1/2 cup All Natural Raspberry Preserves
- 1 Raspberry flavored light yogurt
- 4 egg whites
- 1 Chocolate Baking Bar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 Tbsp Splenda
- Lolipop sticks
- Optional: Sprinkles for topping
- Skinny Blueberry Vanilla Cake Pops
- Ingredients:
- Vanilla Cake Mix
- 1/2 cup All Natural Blueberry Preserves
- 1 Blueberry flavored light yogurt
- 4 egg whites
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a stand-up mixer, mix dry cake mix, raspberry yogurt, egg whites, and 1 cup of water.
- Pour cake mix into a greased cake pan and bake for 20-22 minutes until done.
- Top cake with Raspberry Preserves and then mash the cake with the preserves to evenly distribute raspberry preserves.
- Roll crumbled cake into small 1 inch balls and place on parchment paper to cool and place in freezer for a few minutes.
- Melt down chocolate baking bar and add Splenda and Vanilla.
- Stick the lollipop sticks into the cake balls and dip into melted chocolate.
- Place the cake pops into a Styrofoam brick to cool or if adding toppings, immediately dip cake pops into desired toppings and then place into Styrofoam brick to cool.
