Mmmm did someone say PIE??? What if I said you could have Apple Pie A la Mode every single day. Well guess what – with this recipe YOU CAN and I promise,  it is just like the REAL THING!!

Apple Pie A la Mode Protein Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 chopped apple (I leave the skin on for extra fiber)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/3 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • large handful of ice
  • 1 Tbsp raw walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
  2. Pour into a tall glass and sprinkle with a little cinnamon and a few chopped walnuts.
