Christmas is here and one question on everyone’s mind is, “What is the perfect gift for the Grandparents?” The majority of Grandparents would respond with, “Something homemade and from the heart!” Have you ever watched a kid while they were doing a craft? They put some serious love into their projects and they are always SO excited to share what they have done! Grandparents LOVE to receive homemade gifts from their precious grand-babies and kids enjoy seeing how happy their Grandparents are to display the project they worked so hard to create..it truly is a win-win! You can search the internet and find thousands of craft ideas that double as Grandparent gifts, but I know you are SUPER busy, so I made it easy on you and picked out a few of my favorites!
POPSICLE STICK FLOWERS & FLOWER BOX: Create personalized photo flowers and a matching flower box with craft sticks and your kids imaginations. These flowers are guaranteed to bloom all year long and every grandparent is sure to LOVE them (who wouldn’t?)

KID’S CUSTOM CALENDAR: What a cute idea! Have your little one create 12 different drawings or paintings and then create their very own calender. This gift will keep on giving all year! Each month Grandma and Grandpa will be reminded of the very special gift their grand-baby made for them.
HANDPRINTS ON CERAMICS: I love this! It is a little harder to accomplish than some of the others but it will last forever. Putting your babies hand-prints on ceramics is a great gift and will always remind you of how little their hands were. Very cute idea for Grandparents with multiple grand-babies!
HOW TO MAKE HANDPRINTS ON CERAMICS
CHECKBOOK COVER: These practical yet playful covers make even the most mundane tasks more pleasant. Using a clear passport cover or clear checkbook sleeve as a template, trace over child’s artwork. Cut out, and slip picture inside sleeve. Grandparents will enjoy showing this off to the cashiers & everyone else around them!
HOMEADE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT: This craft is a classic and has been done for MANY years and has tons of variations! Grandparents LOVE homemade Christmas ornaments and they are guaranteed to be displayed on the tree year after year. I remember making homemade Christmas ornaments each year when I was a kid and my mom still puts them up on the tree each year. My mom would buy the blank ceramic ornaments from the craft store and we would paint them…so much fun & excellent memories!
PICTURE FRAME ART & PHOTO DISPLAY: What a SUPER cute idea and one that I will be doing this year with my 6 month old and 2 1/2 year old! I love the fact that this gift displays your baby in the act of creating their masterpiece, as well as, the finished product.

HOMEMADE CHRISTMAS CARD: This is a simple craft and great for kids of all ages. Kids really get the opportunity to display their creativity when making their very own Christmas card (I can only imagine some of the poems or writings they will come up with). I know there are a thousand variations of this craft but below you will find an example of a card I thought was super cute!
