With Easter coming up this next weekend, I decided to try out a skinny fudge brownie recipe. I am hosting Easter brunch after church at my house and I wanted to make something easy for dessert that was low in calories but tasted delicious. I usually am a boxed brownie kind of girl because of the convenience, but I decided to try making the brownies from scratch and I am so happy with how they turned out! I replaced the oil that most brownie recipes call for with applesauce and I decided to mix brown sugar, sugar, and Splenda for the sweetener. I also added some fun M&Ms that are in festive pastel colors to the top of the brownies and I am going to wrap them in cute plastic bags to send home with my guests on Easter.
