In a wok or a deep, large fry pan, heat canola oil. Add broccoli, pepper, onion and mushrooms. Stir until cooked almost cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Add shrimp and thoroughly mix with veggies. Continue cooking until shrimp is pink, about 2-3 minutes. Place ½ cup of brown rice in the bottom of a bowl.
