Skinny Mom is comprised of bloggers from all across the country who strive to maintain balance between a healthy lifestyle and all of the other demanding tasks that motherhood requires. From striving to achieve their pre-pregnancy weight to serving their family a healthy dinner in a limited amount of time – these moms share their tips, experiences, and even struggles along the way as they work to achieve this balance.

Skinny Mom also includes stories of real moms who are living healthy and contributions from top-rated fitness, nutrition, fashion, and lifestyle experts who give you the “skinny” on everything from revamping your sex life to innovative workouts that you can do with your kids!

In short, Skinny Mom is YOU – the mother looking to find a network of like-minded women who strive to set an example of healthy living for their family without sacrificing quality time.


The brains (and beauty) behind Skinny Mom, is fitness expert, Brooke Griffin. While Brooke is a Fitness Universe Champion, personal trainer, and former NFL cheerleader who has appeared and contributed to publications such as Oxygen Women’s Fitness Magazine, Natural Muscle Magazine, Redbook Magazine, and GQ, among others – first and foremost, Brooke is a mom.

Brooke knows what it is like to struggle to find time to make healthy living a priority after becoming a mother. In her quest to lose the 68 pounds of baby weight she gained after having her son, Brooke implemented a fitness and nutrition plan based on her knowledge as a former fitness competitor. She customized her plan based on the realistic need for a simplified and easy-to-follow strategy that is necessary for any busy mom. After losing the weight and returning to her pre-pregnancy physique within five months, Brooke realized there was a need for a community of other mothers facing the same struggle. With that, Skinny Mom was born in March 2011.

The explosive growth since Skinny Mom’s inception quickly proved Brooke right in her suspicion that other mothers were looking for a place to find like-minded modern mothers looking for strategies to incorporate healthy living into their busy lifestyles.

Tori is a lover of literature, blogging, social media, reality television and anything neon. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals, try new things, and push their limits to reach uncharted territories. She is rarely seen without phone in hand and is a self- proclaimed “professional multitasker”. Tori enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, and coaching her club volleyball team.
