Recipe: American Star Fruit Pizza

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 10-12 minutes

Yield: 8 servings

Serving size: ⅛ of fruit pie


  • ½ cup Blue Bonnet® Light Butter Stick, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • Icing:
  • 8 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup stevia (or your favorite sweetener)
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • Toppings:
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries, halved (or strawberries)
  • Miscellaneous:
  • parchment paper
  • star cutout


  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
  2. Line parchment paper over a 9" x 9" inch pie dish.
  3. In a medium size bowl, add butter, sugar and flour. Mix until smooth using a handheld mixer.
  4. Remove the dough from the bowl and press it into the prepared pie dish.
  5. Place pie dish in oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until done. Make sure not to over cook.
  6. In a medium size bowl, beat cream cheese and stevia with a spatula until well mixed.
  7. Remove cookie crust from oven and allow to cool completely. Using the parchment paper, carefully remove the cookie crust and transfer to plate.
  8. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over cookie.
  9. Lightly place the star cutout in the center of the cookie. Add blueberries to exposed cream cheese. Remove the star and fill star with raspberries. Store in fridge until ready to serve.
