Blissfully Busy Mom

image
Sherry is a mother to two boys and a girl ages 4, 6 & 8. She is also a “mommy” to five daycare children. She has been married to her hometown sweetheart since 1995. She was born and bred in the far western suburbs of Chicago and is a graduate of Northern Illinois University. She studied Elementary Education and was a kindergarten through 9th grade substitute teacher for several years. She then moved on to teach software programs to adults for a total of 10 years. She was finally able to follow her true dream of being a mother and enjoying every crazy, rewarding moment that motherhood brings. Three c-sections later, she has been battling the post-baby-belly-bulge. She strives to fit exercise and healthy eating into her blissfully busy life. When her second son was born, she started her current career as a licensed daycare provider in her home. There is “never a dull moment” at her house. Every day is different and she enjoys the challenge of keeping a home, caring for children, and trying to be fit and healthy at the same time.
