Today has been one of those days…I am still in my workout clothes, my hair is pulled back in a baseball cap, and I don’t have any make-up on and it is almost 2:00PM! I am sure that you all know what I am talking about…It seems like the time gets away from me with work, play time with E, and running errands. The hardest part of my day when I am on the go is making sure that Easton and I get fed some kind of nutritious meal, and today I admit that I cheated and did not pack our lunches and had to dine out fast. However, I did try to make it healthy, and of course Easton loved getting to play on the playground. Cheers to a less crazy day tomorrow and eating at home for lunch, but until then, here our my top three recommendations for dining out when you are on the go:
- Chick-Fil-A- My top favorite and what we had for lunch today. I love that you can do grilled chicken nuggets with fruit and milk! Plus they always give you a great book as the prize, and they are just so positive in that place:)
- Kentucky Fried Chicken: My second place choice! I love that you can get chicken with a side of vegetables like corn and green beans. We always do two vegetables and they also give a reduced fat string cheese and a fruit juice or milk.
- Chipotle: I have had great luck with Easton ordering off the kids menu here. He always gets the create your own taco platter with natural chicken free of antibiotics, cheese, black beans, and brown rice. They have organic milk and he loves eating a few of the chips too.
