A little hard to stir, but definately worth it! Shelly January 8, 2013 at 3:48 pm Can you make these with Betty Crockers gluten free cake mix? Do you know if you would make this recipe the same way? brooke griffin June 29, 2013 at 8:06 am I am thinking that it should work ok with the gluten free cake mix as well! Let me know if you try it:) Gayle May 26, 2014 at 10:01 pm Would I be able to add a protein powder to this without any added effects? Other than the extra protein, obviously, haha! Brooke Griffin May 27, 2014 at 9:53 am Hi Gayle! You could add protein powder to the recipe. If you add protein powder, I would recommend adding ½ cup water as well to make the batter easier to stir and blend the ingredients with the protein powder. Let me know how it turns out!
