I live in the Midwest so as soon as the nice weather hits all I want to do is get outside.  I love working out outside especially after a long cold winter on my treadmill.

Here are 7 great outdoor intervals to try:

At the local high school stadium, do a 5 minute warm-up around the track then spend 20 minutes running up the bleachers and walking down. Finish with a 5 minute cool down.

Go to a local track, do a 5 minute warm up followed by 20 minutes of sprinting the straight sections and walking the curves, followed by a 5 minute cool down.

Go for a bike ride! Do a 5 minute warm up, increase tension and pedal hard for 30 seconds-1 minute and decrease and pedal easy for 1 minute. Repeat this sequence 15 times, followed by a 5 minute cool down.
