So, I have been on my quest to get back into my skinny jeans for about two weeks now, and although I am feeling great and still very motivated, I can tell I need to start changing things up a bit before I get bored. Everyone I talk to really loves these Quest bars, and this past weekend my brother-in-law saw me eating the Cinnamon Roll and suggested that I warm it in the microwave for 15 seconds. FYI… It was delicious! That got me thinking…are there any other tips or tricks out there? I did some searches on Google, and what I found was that tons of you are using Quest bars in all kinds of imaginative ways to create recipes that are shockingly good! Here are five recipes I tried this week.
Quest Cinnamon Rolls: I like this recipe because it works well for a post-workout snack and it’s super easy because it only requires two ingredients: A Quest Cinnamon Roll protein bar and vanilla Greek yogurt. It’s basically what my brother-in-law told me to do, but kicked up a notch. Seriously so good, you have to try!
Quest Coconut Crusted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Peanut Butter Balls: Chocolate chip cookie dough, good! Peanut butter, good! Coconut, good! (I might be dating myself, but that was my adaptation of Joey’s reaction to Rachel putting meat, peas and jam in the dessert trifle she made on a Thanksgiving episode of “Friends”). These balls only have three ingredients and will only set you back 150 calories, therefore you really can’t beat this simple-to-make but totally tasty snack. Enjoy!
Quest Sinless Brownies: If you take one look at this picture, you know you won’t be able to resist trying these brownies. I knew they would taste good, but I was surprised how the protein bars crisped up in the oven and the chocolate on the peanut butter cups melted! They taste the best when they’re nice and hot, right out of the oven.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mugcake: Not too long ago, there was a post about some excellent snacks you can make in a mug. Here is one more tasty little mug treat to add to the list!
Healthy and Fluffy Cinnamon Roll Peanut Butterscotch Pancakes: These pancakes are delicious and super fluffy! In addition to using a Quest Cinnamon Roll protein bar, the recipe also calls for Stevia and PB2 (peanut butter powder). These three products have become staples in my healthy diet and weight loss regimen, and I believe they’re becoming instrumental in getting me back into my skinny jeans. But seriously…how amazing do these look?
There you have it! Five recipes I have found helpful in my quest to get back into my skinny jeans. Do you have any recipes you’ve used based on Quest Protein bars, or any recipes where they can be used as substitutes? Please share them in the comments below!
