I’ve searched high and low for good facial products and then I started talking to Ayurvedic Health Coach, Alicia Diaz, M.A.

In combining both our expertise, we decided to team up to create a “10 Days to Vibrant Skin” protocol, which uses nothing but natural ingredients. Healthy herbs, spices, vegetables and fruits are great to eat, and surprisingly, can also provide other benefits, especially when it comes to skincare.

I’m so excited to share one of my favorite personalized face masks, which can be made right in your very own kitchen, using natural herbs and substances that you also want to be feeding your body. We call it, the Avocado Face Mask.

Avocado will help replenish and moisturize the skin in a very natural way, without the use of alcohol or any other harmful chemicals. Avocados are loaded with benefits. They are really high in Omega-3’s, loaded with really good fat, are made from a lot of water so they are great for hydration, and have more energy than any other vegetable.

According to Ayurveda, there are seven layers of skin, which represents the seven tissues and organ systems of the body. Vibrant health can be promoted inside the body through the foods that we eat and drink, as well as, through the substances we apply to the skin topically.

Not only is our Avocado Face Mask extremely simple to make and use, it’s a lot easier on your wallet, too!

Steps for preparing, prepping and using the Avocado Face Mask:

  1. Cut open the avocado and remove the pit.
  2. Scoop it out and mash it with a fork. Use your hands to mix the avocado together!
  3. Mix in 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
  4. Apply the avocado all over your face, like a mask! Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  5. Wash off with warm water. Repeat above steps on a regular basis.
  6. As I always say, “remember, we’re in this together!”
