I definitely understand the chaos of watching kids and trying to eat your own healthy meals instead of the leftover chicken nuggets your children half-devoured!

Don’t give up on your weight loss journey before it has even begun. Most people think it only happens in the gym, but the first place you will have to put work in is the kitchen! You can eat through any workout. Here are some great Skinny Mom Meals to fill you up without filling you out:

Breakfast:

But, I will also suggest buying a heart rate monitor (they have good ones everywhere from Target to Walmart…you don’t necessarily have to break the bank). This will help you track how many calories you’re burning during your workouts, especially if you are relying on videos and Xbox programs! Plus, it will give you an idea of what kind of workout zone you are in: cardio, fat-burning, etc. The key is mixing cardio with strength training.
