I have read countless recipes claiming to be quick and easy. If, like me, you find yourself with something completely foreign to what the food blogger has pictured in their strategically placed, perfectly lit kitchen, then these two-ingredient healthy bites are for you.
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 Tbsp of thyme
Preheat your oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Mix together both ingredients. Place a spoonful of the mixture on the parchment and pat down. Leave some space between each spoonful so you don’t end up with one giant crisp! Bake for 3-5 minutes until crisp. Let cool and serve. Perfect for salad crisps or as an alternative to chips. - Slices of tomato – Red tomato, heirloom tomato, pick your favorite!
- Buffalo Mozzarella balls
There’s nothing easier than stacking a piece of mozzarella on a perfectly ripe tomato. It’s delicious, simple, and so good for you. Take your caprese bite into a meal, with the Skinny Mini Caprese Pizzas!
Protein Packed Pizza
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
Knead the dough for 5-8 minutes and you’re ready to go. Bake with your favorite pizza ingredients. This beats processed store-bought white pizza crust any day. (photo credit)
Another great pairing is Brie cheese and green apple slices. They’re sweet, tart, and crunchy. Other than slicing these two ingredients into pieces, there’s no prep. You can’t beat it! Add just a couple more ingredients and you have an amazing wrap! (photo credit)
