Lisa Snowdon

Pilates has been around way before its breakout in the early 2000s. In fact, expert trainer Lynda Lippin embarked on her study of Pilates 25 years ago in 1987 as a student at New York’s SUNY Purchase. Her journey began with Pilates luminary Steve Giordano. After running several successful studios in the Philadelphia area as well as in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos for over a decade, Lynda went on to serve four years as the resident Pilates and Fitness Director of the world renowned Como Shambhala Spa at Parrot Cay Resort, an A-list private island retreat.

Lynda’s celeb client list includes such names as Donna Karan, Natalie Livingston and Lisa Snowdon. She is also the recipient of numerous awards in her field, including 2003 Best of Philly┬« Pilates Studio from Philadelphia Magazine and the 2011 SpaFinder Magazine Reader’s Choice Award for Best Pilates. Did we mention Lynda is is a Master Reiki practitioner and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, holding additional certifications in TRX as well as Kettlebells? This lady knows A LOT about fitness.

While she currently resides in NYC, Lynda stopped her very busy instructing schedule to give us the workout she used on Supermodel Lisa Snowdon!!!

Lisa Snowdon Supermodel Workout/Be sure to follow the VIDEO for proper form and instruction:

  1. Pelvic Tilt
  2. Bridging, add knee fold, and one leg pulse
  3. Single leg stretch
  4. Lynda Lippin

    Criss cross

  5. Side Hydrant
  6. Side Double Leg Lift
  7. Short Lever Side Plank and Star
  8. Repeat other side
  9. Plank, add mountain climber, then oblique crunch
